10 years old ! It’s been ten wonderful years since the EMVR was founded, and the music school will be celebrating this anniversary on Sunday 24 November 2024.
The EMVR was born out of a merger between several music schools in the Lausanne region, and has gradually established itself in the local music scene thanks to the teaching sites and the high quality of teaching provided by the school’s teachers.
The creation of a large structure such as the EMVR has made it possible to develop ambitious musical projects such as the symphony orchestra, the music camp and the jazz workshop, and to foster partnerships with local cultural players such as the OCL, the Rencontres Harmoniques and other music schools in the canton…
Plurality, diversity, quality, proximity – the EMVR will continue to ardently defend this vision for many years to come !
EMVR ensembles
For the 1st half of 24-25, the EMVR is offering ensemble activities at each of its teaching sites, culminating in a concert on 24 November at the Mont-sur-Lausanne concert hall to mark the EMVR’s 10th anniversary.
